    To significantly reduce the time required to initiate charging, we collaborated closely with business and technical teams to conceptualize and design the Autocharge service. This groundbreaking solution allows users to simply plug in the charging cable, and the charging process begins automatically.

  • VWS Software: Truck

    Purgo Truck is a highly advanced tablet application that fulfills the requirements set by the largest waste management companies in the UK. 

    Lab1 was assigned the task of completely redesigning the existing application, which had already gained considerable success in the market but lacked several new functionalities. One of the primary objectives was to achieve the highest level of ergonomics, given the demanding working environment within the trucks. Consequently, we focused on adhering to appropriate design standards, with a strong emphasis on readability and creating an interface that would ensure maximum safety for the drivers.

  • 1 tap charge

    We designed and implemented a feature that lets users start EV charging with a single tap — compared to 10+ steps in competing apps. Through an iterative process with 7 evolving versions, we optimized for speed and simplicity. Drivers love it, and the experience has gone viral in user feedback.
